This site aims to help people exchange research results openfreely for Pan-Asia SNP project.

▣. Open Pan-Asia SNP Bioinformatics/Database group
This is a freely editable open hypertext site for Pan-Asia SNP Database construction effort (especially for Korean meeting on 18th 19th Aug. 2005) 

Thai group has a database site for PASNP. It will be linked to this in the future.

▣. Standard formats for PASbase
PASNPI meta data for v. 3.0 release
Affy file format: KR-KR-123456-1-01
   Delimited by dash (hyphen) 
   First two chars (KR) are for Nation 
  Second two chars are for local ethnic groups. 
  Third 6 digits are for unique serial number for the sample. 
   Fourth 1 digit is for experiment number(serial). For repeated experiments, etc. 
  The last 2 digits are for future technology distinction (future proof measure). 
    If you are in Japan, an example can be: '''JP-J2-000001-1-01'''
